Four points to describe your site

A few concrete details are enough to start the conversation. Include what you know and identify anything that still needs checking.

The location and your role

Give the municipality, building type and affected floor. Say whether you are contacting Demotek as the owner, building manager, architect or contractor, and who can arrange access.

What goes and what stays

Name the affected rooms or structures and your intended result. Label approximate dimensions as estimates. Describe an unknown material without assuming its composition.

Access and building use

Mention narrow stairs, a shared passage or access available only through the garden. Identify areas that will remain in use and installations that also serve other rooms or homes.

Documents and timing

List available plans, surveys and reports, with their dates. Give your preferred period and any other contractors already planned, distinguishing confirmed appointments from provisional dates.

Two example messages to adapt

These situations are fictional. Use only the details that fit your building; unknown information can remain to be confirmed.

Replacing an outbuilding roof

I am preparing to replace an outbuilding roof in [municipality]. Its area is estimated at [area] from a plan. The covering needs assessment before removal; I have [available report / no report at this stage]. Access is via [known access]. I would like to keep the walls and roof structure, subject to their assessment. The roofer is considering work in [period].

Demolishing a garage while keeping the slab

I would like the walls and roof of a garage in [municipality] removed while keeping the slab if possible. The garage is [detached / attached] and access is via [known access]. Connected services are [to be confirmed]. I have [available plans or reports]. Please distinguish demolition, waste removal and any additional work in the quote. My preferred period is [period].

Your questions

Back to the form
What should I prepare if a site visit is needed?

Gather available plans and reports, questions to resolve and contact details for the person providing access. Before agreeing an appointment, clarify which areas will be examined, who will attend and any charges. Mention areas that are inaccessible or in use. A visit to prepare a quote and an asbestos survey or analysis are different services: ask what is planned and which documents you will receive.

Can I give a preferred starting date?

Yes. Explain whether it is a preference, the date the premises become available or another contractor’s planned visit. Mention outstanding steps, such as a study or confirmation of access. Your enquiry starts the discussion; it does not reserve a slot. Have the schedule and its conditions confirmed once the work scope has been defined.

How can I add documents or correct my enquiry after sending it?

Reply to the acknowledgement to send plans, existing photographs or complete reports with their annexes. Include the municipality again and identify what has changed: area, location, date or a revised document. You can also write directly to the email address on this page. If you cannot find the acknowledgement, check your spam folder. If the form reports a failure, follow the message on screen.

Preparing your enquiry

Describe what must go, what stays and the expected final condition. Reply to the acknowledgement with complete plans and reports, including annexes, rather than only a conclusion page. For asbestos, an expert checks whether the report covers the planned work and determines any further investigation. Mention shared access and occupation without dismantling or moving suspect materials. The images are illustrations of project preparation.
